Portland Maine Buy Local gets even better - Dealitious.com – Daily Deals that will make your mouth water

Portland Maine now has a new website not only to provide a little something for its followers, but to help encourage users to buy local and support the local economy. That's right, according to the site Dealitious.com, they plan to

"negotiate huge discounts on popular local goods, services and cultural events. Then we offer the deals to thousands of subscribers in a free daily email. The deals are activated only when a minimum number of people agree to buy. So our subscribers get a great deal and the business gets a ton of new customers. Win-win for everyone!"

Sounds like a great deal for everyone for sure. A visit to the website notes a 50% off deal at the popular Mexican restaurant El Rayo Taqueria, at the corner of York St and High St in Portland, with users having the ability to purchase a $30 coupon for $15. At the time of writing this post, a total of 47 coupons out of 150 available had been purchased (the website launched today!) and the deal is available for another day. We know these 50/50 coupons are very popular on the local radio stations when they are made available.

We signed up for the daily deals email alert and will surely watch this one closely, and hopefully you'll also keep an eye out and support your local businesses here in Portland, Maine.
