Fellow Agents, I have been tracking open house leads for awhile now and wondering whether or not others out there are tracking how buyers and interested parties find your open houses that you host. More and more, the figures in my personal experience are pointing to buyer traffic coming from Open House advertising primarily from "signs" or "drivebys" and the internet.
Surprising to me, I have seen a recent increase in the traffic coming from the "newspaper" though there have been times when a buyer checks "newspaper" as how they heard about the open house, when there was no newspaper advertisement that particular weekend.
What are your thoughts here?
Your personal experience?
How many signs do you put out?
If you do internet marketing, where do you post the open house? When do you place the ad?
Do your figures vary by the location of the home?
